Nashville kids portraits, before they change again.
They’re only this exact age once. The gap teeth, the wild hair, the look they give you that you never want to forget. We catch it fast, before the patience runs out. Five minutes, no sit still and smile, no meltdown marathon. Just a quick, playful session where they get to be themselves and you walk away with the frame that ends up on the wall.
Got a kid obsessed with dinosaurs, space, or pink everything? Our 200+ backdrop wall can build their whole world around them, and they will love watching it happen.
Put them anywhere. A beach, a castle, outer space.
The wall is a screen, not a rack of printed paper, so the background is whatever you decide it should be. A kid who only talks about sharks gets to stand in the ocean. A kid deep in a princess year gets a castle. Bring a picture on your phone if you have something specific in mind and we can put it up there. This is also the easy answer for holiday cards, because a snowy scene in October takes about four seconds to arrange.
Ages three and up, and the honest reason why
Three is roughly where a portrait session starts working, because that is when most kids can take one piece of direction and hold still for a second. Younger than that and you are mostly negotiating. If your child is nearly three and generally game, call us first and we will be straight with you about whether it is worth the trip.
Why five minutes beats an hour
Every parent has done the long session. The one where the good photos all happen in the first ten minutes and the rest is bribery. We compressed the whole thing. Sixty seconds of actual shooting, about five minutes in the room. Kids are still in a good mood when it ends, which is the entire point, and you are not the one apologizing to a photographer.
Siblings, cousins, and the whole crew
Up to eight people fit in the frame, a limit set by the width of the LED wall rather than by us. That covers most sibling sets, cousins during a holiday visit, and a grandparent who wants to be in one. Nobody has to match. Coordinated outfits are a lovely idea that has ruined a lot of otherwise good afternoons.
Bring the props
The stuffed animal that goes everywhere. The soccer ball. The tutu they refuse to take off. Props are encouraged here, and they usually do more for a kid’s expression than any amount of direction from an adult holding a camera.
What it costs
The session is free. You walk in, we shoot, and you look at the frames before you leave. Basic is $99 for a single image. Standard is $249 for five. Premium is $499 for everything from the session. There is no sitting fee, and you are never committing to a package before you have seen a photo. You keep what you love and skip the rest.
